By accessing or using Polyhedral ("Service," "we," "our") you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Polyhedral is an AI-enhanced tabletop role-playing platform that lets you: create/manage RPG games; interact with AI Game Masters/players; upload/share PDFs, images, and other resources; record/transcribe audio. Features may change per §11.
4.1 Provide accurate info and keep it updated.
4.2 Keep credentials confidential—you're responsible for all activity.
4.3 Notify support@polyhedral.co of unauthorised use.
4.4 We may suspend/terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
5.1 Ownership. You retain all rights to content you upload or create ("User Content").
5.2 Licence to Polyhedral. You grant us a world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to store, host, index, adapt, display, back up, and otherwise use User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
5.3 Licence Scope Clarification. The licence in §5.2 is limited to operating, maintaining, and improving the Service for you and other users. It does not let us publish, monetise, or otherwise exploit your User Content outside Polyhedral.
5.4 No AI Model Training. We do not use User Content—including uploaded RPG PDFs—to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any standalone machine-learning or AI model, ours or third-party. Temporary embeddings or cache copies created only to serve your game session are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
5.5 Confidentiality. We treat User Content as confidential and do not disclose it to third parties except (a) to subprocessors bound by equal confidentiality, (b) when you explicitly share it, or (c) when required by law.

6.1 AI responses are machine-generated, may be inaccurate, and should be reviewed before reliance.
6.2 Generated content may be similar for multiple users; you receive no exclusive rights.
6.3 Your data may be processed and temporarily cached by third-party AI providers under confidentiality agreements.
7.1 Limits: 500 MB per file, 5 GB total free storage (higher on paid plans).
7.2 We may create thumbnails, text layers, embeddings, or metadata to enable search, previews, and AI features.
7.3 Upload only material you have rights to use.
8.1 Using voice features means you consent to recording and transcription.
8.2 Raw audio is deleted after transcription; text transcripts remain in your project.
8.3 Speech recognition is provided by vetted vendors under data-protection agreements.
9.1 Some features are free; others require a subscription. Prices are shown in-app.
9.2 Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the next billing date.

11.1 We target 99% uptime but outages may occur.
11.2 We may add, change, or discontinue features. Material changes: 30 days' notice via email or in-app. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance.
12.1 You may cancel anytime; we delete account data within 30 days (backups kept 90 days).
12.2 We may terminate/suspend for breach or discontinue the Service with 60 days' notice.
12.3 You can export your User Content and transcripts before closure.
Service and AI output are provided "as-is." No express or implied warranties; not for medical, legal, or safety-critical use.
Maximum aggregate liability = fees paid to Polyhedral in the last 12 months. No liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Cap does not apply to gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or non-excludable statutory liability.
You will defend and indemnify Polyhedral against claims arising from your User Content, use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.
16.1 Governing law: State of New York, USA.
16.2 All disputes under these Terms must be brought exclusively in the small-claims court of Ulster County, New York, up to that court's monetary limit.
